This weekend my boyfriend and I flew the Charleston, SC to find an apartment.
Moving out of state is super stressful. The rentals in Charleston get snatched up extremely fast, and we found that a lot of rental agencies are closed on Saturdays and Sundays which makes it even harder to find something if you’re only in town for the weekend.
We stayed at a spot we found via airbnb.com, which was definitely the way to go. It was significantly cheaper than any of the hotels in the area. It wasn’t in the heart of downtown which we prefer, but you can walk there or he has two bikes in the back you can use. The house was clean and comfortable, and the host (Bryan) was a total dream. Peep it out here
Oh, and bonus points for having the most adorable English Springer Spaniel neighbor
Walking around the holy city is straight up eye-candy for me. I’m a huge fan of smelling Jasmine everywhere I go, and there were flowers in people’s yards that looked like they came out of Jumanji
We really only got to look at two places which was giving me a full fledged stressing out panic attack. But somehow, we got one.

I’m obviously no professional photographer, but I am practicing (when I can actually find the time these days..) and I am really passionate about shooting my look books
They are immense amounts of fun, but a lot of people don’t realize the tremendous amount of work that actually goes into them! Hair, Makeup, Styling, Shooting, Modeling, Editing… but when they all come together and your model is killing it and you see that two second preview of your money shot on your lcd monitor..your heart literally skips a beat and it’s fucking magic.
I’ve been really lucky to work with some fantastic models up to this point, and it really makes all the difference in the world. Not trying to toot my own horn here, but I’d like to think I have a good eye for spotting the true magicians amongst the pretty girls. Some girls just have that X-factor. One of my new favorite gems is Zoe Cross

It seems like every new brand I fall head over heels in love with lately comes from Australia – particularly Byron Bay.
Arnhem creates beautiful bohemian pieces in the most beautiful colors and prints. I have never actually touched an Arnhem garment, but I can tell just from the photographs that they’re soft and comfortable.

Gorgeous model – I love that tiny bruise on her leg. I have been dreaming about that emerald green kimono…trying to not to do too much damage on my credit card…trying..
