Annnddddd Saint Laurent’s Hedi Slimane has dressed the duo
I saw them in .. what year?? 2007??.. in Coney Island. It was sheer insanity. When you get together and talk about that show with other people who went it’s like a bunch of war vets exchanging stories. Our “seats” where originally waaaaay too far away, but after a lady friend sweet-talked a security guard, we got our asses on the field – three rows of sweaty humans away from the glorious pyramid. Probably the single best night of my entire life.
This was the show:
This video was shot by 250 cameras from the audience and put together by Olivier Gondry. I can’t watch any footage from this concert without getting chills. I am way too hyped for 11:13am at the office.
I’ll try to stop geekin out now.

benefits of vegetarianism, food inc, forks of knives, nutrition, PB & J can save the world, plant-based diet, reasons for going vegetarian
How are those New Year’s resolutions going? I don’t like to set myself up for failure so I skipped out on a gym membership this year (again). I’d been trying to cut meat out of my diet and had been doing an okay job, but I think it’s time to try a little harder. I have ALWAYS rolled my eyes at vegetarians, thinking them incredibly annoying because they feel like they need to tell you they don’t eat meat at every possible opportunity they get. But I can tell you after just a month of way less meat, I am more energetic, I have clearer skin, and am back to a size small without even working out. So why have I decided to finally go the veggie road? I took a course in college with my boyfriend called “plants, humans, and the environment” which was worth my total cost of tuition. We learned a TON about nutrition, among a thousand other terrifying topics (please recycle everything and try to only buy paper products including toilet paper made from 100% recycled paper please please please)
Do yourself a favor and watch Food, Inc.
I’m not going to lie, it’s extremely unsettling but full of eye-opening information.
Then watch Forks Over Knives
It’s pretty remarkable what’s possible just by adopting a plant-based diet.
Also, did you know that if you eat a plant-based lunch, such as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2.5 lbs, save 133 gallons of water, and conserve 24 square feet of land? PB & J sandwiches can save the world! More on that here
I realize your mental image of me after reading this consists of dreadlocks and Birkenstocks, but in all seriousness do yourself and the world a favor and try to adopt a more plant-based diet. You’ll love the way you feel and look, I promise

Did you guys know Sky Ferreira is a singer?
I like her voice a lot, this song is really solid:
Too bad this video is really, super boring. It’s like watching an angsty teenager help their friend shoot a high school video project. I kinda assumed because she’s a model she’d be interesting to watch..which she’s…not. Just kinda looks like she’s doing a 4min. long photoshoot.
She is only 20 though
